Canopy
Mature trees surveyed and protected; layouts set into the gaps between them.

Landscape design & build · San Fernando Valley
Established streets, mature canopy, and gardens that should look like they were always there.
Toluca Lake already has what most neighborhoods spend twenty years growing: mature trees, deep shade, and established character. The design task is to work with that canopy rather than clear it.
We survey the existing trees first, protect root zones through construction, and set terraces and pools into the gaps between them. Shade-tolerant planting handles the areas the canopy already owns.
The architecture here tends toward traditional, so we lean on warm, quiet materials — honed stone, brick where it belongs, and painted timber — over anything that would read as an obvious insertion.

Services in Toluca Lake
Common questions
Yes. Toluca Lake is one of our regular service areas, and one team handles design, engineering, permitting, and construction — pools and spas, hardscape, water and fire features, pergolas, and planting.
Toluca Lake is largely within the City of Los Angeles for permitting, with standard requirements for pools, walls, gas lines, and structures, plus tree protections on many streets.
Traditional bones with a modern build quality. Flat lots, mature trees, and established streets favor structured gardens, generous terraces, and pools set calmly into the plan.
Design and engineering usually take a few months, and construction depends on scope — a terrace and planting is a different project from a pool, retaining structure, and pavilion. We give you a milestone schedule before work begins and keep it current as approvals clear.
